Azerbaijan and Latvia signed agreement on cooperation in environment Thursday in Baku.

The document was signed by Azerbaijan's Ecology Minister Huseyn Baghirov and Environment Minister of Latvia Raimonds Beyonis.
Latvia has interesting experience in environmental sphere, said Baghirov.
"The framework agreement will allow to coordinate the joint activity and study experience in ecological sphere", said the Minister.
In most ratings Latvia is assessed as an ecologically stable country, said Beyonis.
"It is time to share the accumulated experience in the ecological sphere with other countries. The agreement will intensify bilateral cooperation between the states", said the Latvian Minister.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has contracts on cooperation in environmental sphere with over 10 countries, including Georgia, Turkey, Germany, Iran, Moldova, Ukraine, Czechia and others.
