United Popular Front Party urges world community to respond adequately to events in Iran

A regular session of the United Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, headed by MP Gudrat Hasanquliyev, was held Monday, according to the press service for the party.
As is reported, the session participants discussed the sociopolitical situation in the country and the world.

The session participants also discussed the situation in Iran following presidential elections. The party condemns violence against civilians during actions.

"The party can not stay indifferent to the actions of the Iranian powers against our compatriots. We believe the world community must take an adequate stance on the events in Tehran and conduct more effective steps", says the statement.

The party also considers that a number of organizations that attempt to distance our compatriots from processes in Iran, have taken a wrong stance.
