Majority of Iranian citizens living in Azerbaijan voted for presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi in the Iranian presidential poll, Iranian embassy spokesperson Abbas Isgandari told Trend News.

As many as 1,430 Iranian citizens took part in the vote. "A total of 1418 votes were valid and 12 invalid. Mir Hossein Mousavi won 1,149 of votes," Isgandari said.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won 217, Mehdi Karroubi 28 and Mohsun Rezai 24 of the votes.
According to the latest information by the Iranian electoral commission, incumbent president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won 64.99 percent of votes, IRINN reported.
