Armenian FM meets US Assistant Secretary of State

The Armenian Minister stressed importance of strengthening ties between the United States and Armenia. Gordon, in turn, announced that the fact he paid his first visit to Armenia after being appointed to this post proves the expansion of comprehensive cooperation.

According to the Foreign Minister, the sides discussed works held in terms of the US-Armenian interstate commission as well as issues, connected with the Millennium Challenges program.

Nalbandyan presented steps, taken by Armenia in holding democratic reforms. Gordon assured of assistance to Armenia in the resolution of the Armenian-Turkish relations.

The sides exchanged views on Karabakh. As a co-chair of the Minsk Group the United States will continue assisting to efforts in the resolution of this conflict.
