Chief of General Staff of Turkey: The withdrawal of Armenian troops from the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh is important

"The withdrawal of Armenian troops from the territory of Nagorno Karabakh is very important", said Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Ilker Bashbuk at a press conference in Ankara, the Turkish newspaper Today's Zaman reports.
Bashbuk noted that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey twice expressed views on the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in conjunction with the settlement of Armenian-Turkish relations: "the opening of the Turkish-Armenian border must occur simultaneously with the withdrawal of Armenian troops from Karabakh».

"We fully agree with this opinion", said the Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.
