MP: The road map must not damage the national interests of Azerbaijan

According to him, at the same time, the most important provision for Azerbaijan is that the agreement on Karabakh and the "road map" itself must not damage the national interests of our country.

"It is important for Azerbaijan that the improvement of ties between Turkey and Armenia proceeds on par with the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. Our public will not accept any step of the Turkish side towards Armenia, that would damage Azerbaijan and the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Through years we got used to Turkey as not simply a reliable partner but also as a friend in the region. In this sense the unilateral steps of Turkey are not always thorough and timely".
