Turkey will develop a road map for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, reports Turkish Hurriyet newspaper, commenting on the recent progress in talks between Armenia and Turkey, held in Switzerland and appearance of the so-called "road map" of the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation.
"The details of the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border will be established by the commission on borders. As a demonstration of good will, there will be taken immediate measures on the gradual opening of borders. As reported by diplomats, the social and economic projects, coordinated by the Turkish-Armenian Business Development Council will promote diplomatic recognition", says the newspaper.

Notably, on April 23 there was published a joint statement of the Goreign Ministry of Armenia, Turkey and Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland. The document says that in the process of resolution of the Armenian-Turkish relations both sides have attained a significant progress, mutual understanding and agreement to improve relations, meeting the needs of both parties.

The authors of the document notes that the principles coordinated by the parties create a positive perspective for the continuation of the negotiation process. "A road map" was defined for the purpose.

"This coordinated basis creates a positive perspective for continuation of the process", says the document.
