President of Azerbaijan offers evacuation day greetings to Syrian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on the occasion of Evacuation Day.
“I am confident we will continue joint efforts towards developing and expanding friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Syria,” the Azerbaijani leader said in his letter.

The President of Azerbaijan also wished Bashar al-Assad “my best regards” and “the friendly people of Syria peace and prosperity”.
