President of Turkey Abdullah Gul held a meeting with Azerbaijani women deputies Thursday, Turkish mass medias report according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

The meeting that was held in private in the resident of the Turkish president lasted for 45 minutes. The meeting was also attended by member of the Turkish Parliament Schenol Balin.
The delegation of women deputies of Milli Medjlis, including Guler Ahmedova, Lala Abbasova, Aynur Guliyeva and Ganira Pashayeva left for Turkey on April 14 by invitation of chairman of the Women's Association Turk Dunyasi Shenol Balin.
In the framework of the visit our deputies visited Ataturk's grave, held meetings with chairman of the parliament Keksal Toptan, chairman of the National Movement Party Devlet Bahchali, chairman of the National Republican party Deniz Baykal.
The visit also envisions meetings with representatives of NGO and mass medias to discuss possible opening of the Turkish-Armenian border.
The visit will last until April 18.
