Head of the Turkish national oil company Mehmet Uysal spoke of the activity of the company at a press conference, according to Turkish Cihan news agency.
Mehmet Uysal annunced that before 2023 Turkey will pay $600 bln for crude oil and noted that underground reserves of the Black Sea bring hope to them.
"The potential of the Black Sea is large. Oil reserves there may meet 40 years demand of Turkey. The Black Sea has 10 bln barrels of oil reserves. We consider that there the natural gas reserves make 1.5 bln cubic meters", said he.
Uysal also noted that oil reserves of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan may cover the two years demand of Turkey.
TPAO leader noted that company revenues from sale have risen from $500 mln to $2.2 bln.
