Deputy Italian FM arrives on official visit to Azerbaijan

In the framework of the visit Mantika will hold meetings with deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov, Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev, deputy Minister of Economic Development Mikail Cabbarov.

Also on Tuesday representative of the Foreign Ministry of Italy will attend the signing ceremony of the memorandum of mutual understanding between the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and University of Trento. The document will be signed by high school rectors. The rector of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy is deputy head of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Hafiz Pashayev.

In the framework of the visit Mantika will discuss prospects of development of bilateral Azerbaijani-Italian relations.

"The confirmations about the meeting of deputy Foreign Minister of Italy with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has not been received yet", said the press service for the Italian embassy.

On Monday evening Mantika will attend the opening of the exhibition "Italian style" in the business center "Landmark-3". The exposition will also feature models of clothes from Italian couturier of the 1950s until present. Some of them were made by an individual order. Thus, the exhibition will feature dresses, made exclusively for spouse of US president John Kennedy Jacqueline Kennedi, princess Diana and others. Models of Italian furniture will also be presented.

On March 3 deputy Italian Foreign Minister will also attend the opening of the Italian culture center at the Azerbaijan State University of Languages.

Mantika's visit to Azerbaijan will end on late March 3.
