Co-chairs of World Azerbaijanis Congress discuss Karabakh conflict with deputies of Australian parliament

Co-chairs of the World Azerbaijanis Congress Sabir Rustamkhanly, Firuddin Parvizniya and permanent representative of the World Azerbaijanis Congress Ajder Taghizade are visiting Australia, according to the press service for the Congress.
As is reported, WAC representatives held a number of meetings in the Australian parliament, organized discussions in the Foreign Ministry of this country and met with the diaspora organizations.

The WAC leaders attended a plenary session of the parliament and the senate of the country and familiarized with the work of the legislative body.

At the round table, attended by the WAC leaders, the senators and deputies of the parliament, the sides discussed the occupational policy of Armenia, ways of settling the Karabakh problem, pressure on Azerbaijanis in Iran, the situation in the region, the Russian-Ukrainian and Russian-Ukrainian and Russian-Georgian conflicts, Azerbaijan's role in the energy security of Europe, Azerbaijani-European relations and so on.

The WAC co-chairs also held a meeting in the Foreign Ministry of Australia, where issues concerning both parties were discussed. The meeting with Turkish and Azerbaijani diasporas, functioning in this country, was held  after it.

The visit of the WAC co-chairs to Australia continues.
