Matthew Bryza: "Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev reduced differences in their positions during the meeting in Z?rich"

"Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev have attained a progress in perception of several key elements of the main principles of peaceful resolution", said US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza by results of the meeting of the two presidents in Z?rich.

Notably, earlier in Z?rich the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan held a meeting with participation of the Foreign Ministers of the two countries and OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, after which they had a one-on-one meeting, followed by an expanded meet.

"The meeting was positive and constructive and the presidents reached progress in perception of several key elements of the main principles ad reduced differences in a number of issues, existing in their positions", said Bryza.

He noted that the co-chairs are planning to visit the region next month to "maintain this positive moment".
