PACE President: "PACE is ready to put forward proposals in the regulation of Nagorno Karabakh conflict but the parties must come to an agreement"

He said the activity of the subcommittee on prevention of conflicts in CE states, includes resolution of frozen conflicts, including Nagorno Karabakh, as well as  making proposals on aversion of such conflicts.

"For finding way out of the established situation we will try to present proposals yet the conflict parties must come to an agreement. I would like to note that the meeting of the chairmen of the Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations held in the framework of the last PACE session for the purpose of searching ways of the conflict resolution was held in a positive and constructive form", said he.

He also noted that the agenda includes appointment of the new chairman of the subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh.
