USA to supply military cargoes to Afghanistan via Georgia and Azerbaijan

The United States have worked out a new transport route for supply of arms and other cargo, according to Associated Press.
The agency reports with reference to commander of US armed forces David Patrow, a part of cargoes will be transported to Kazakhstan via Georgia and Azerbaijan and then transported via Uzbekistan to Afghanistan.

Earlier the United States supplied cargo via Pakistan, but this route was dangerous and the cargoes often did not reach the destination point. Experts consider that the new transit will be safer.
