Novruz Mamedov: "The visit of Azerbaijani President to Turkey will further close ties between the two countries"

The first official foreign visit of Ilham Aliyev after being re-elected as President of Azerbaijan to Turkey aims to close the two countries even more, said chief of department of external ties of the presidential administration Novruz Mamedov, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports with reference to ANS TV channel.

"This visit is called symbolical, which means that it is of great importance. It aims at further expansion, deepening and strengthening of relations between the two fraternal countries and friendly nations".

According to the representative of the presidential administration, there is a need for holding Azerbaijani-Turkish talks on the high level due to I.Aliyev's being re-elected as President and rapid development of the process in the region.

Aliyev will notably direct for Turkey on November 5.
