President of Azerbaijan: "Relationships among the political forces in the country marked a new stage of development meeting international standards"

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received chairman and executive secretary of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev, reports Day.Az with reference to AzerTac.

Lebedev congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his re-election as President of Azerbaijan. He said people of Azerbaijan are satisfied with the country`s economic progress and their improving welfare.

The Head of State thanked Lebedev for his congratulation. President Ilham Aliyev described good conduct of election as the example of political relationships. The Head of State said relationships among the political forces in the country marked a new stage of development meeting international standards. The Head of State described presidential election as an indicator of political stability and development.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also received Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Janez Lenarčič.

Lenarcic congratulated Azerbaijani Leader on his stunning victory in the presidential election. He stressed election had been monitored by about 400 ODIHR-led observers from over 40 OSCE member countries.

The Head of State pointed out Azerbaijan had attracted as many observers as possible and created good conditions for them. President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the importance of the OSCE/ODIHR mission to Azerbaijan for expanding relations and assessing the election.
