Isa Qambar: "Repetition of events of October 16 of 2003 is not expected this year"

He noted that the ideal electoral process are absent this year and the society is passive.

"I do not expect the public to be active on the voting day as well. The presidential candidates are also not inclined to holding mass actions and we have not heard the intentions to hold them after the voting. In this case, the powers will not need to use the law enforcement bodies against the meeting participants", said Qambar.
