Azerbaijanis in Dubai to vote for Ilham Aliyev

Azerbaijani citizens, residing in the UAE will support the candidacy of working president Ilham Aliyev and vote for him at the upcoming presidential elections, to be held in Azerbaijan on October 15, says the press service of the State Committee for work with Azerbaijanis, residing abroad.

As is reported, the Azerbaijan society, functioning in Dubai, held an event on preparations for presidential elections in Azerbaijan. The work, carried out by President Ilham Aliyev through the past five years and aimed at the economic development of the country, preservation of the sociopolitical stability, formation of strong Azerbaijani diaspora and so on, was stressed at the event. "Considering it, the Azerbaijani citizens, residing in the emirates, will vote for Ilham Aliyev at the upcoming presidential elections", says the report.

The agitation campaign will be held in the Emirates before the presidential elections, during which the voters will be informed about the main trends of Ilham Aliyev's platform. Moreover, the Azerbaijan society undertook the responsibility for creating all necessary conditions for voters on the day of elections, including for those Azerbaijani citizens, who are held in prison in the Emirates.

Dubai accounts for about 1,000 Azerbaijani citizens.
