Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov met with his British counterpart David Miliband, said spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Khazar Ibrahim.
Reports say that the meeting was held in the framework of Mamedyarov's visit to London.
The meeting participants discussed regional issues and Mamedyarov stressed importance of Turkey's initiative of the Caucasus Cooperation and Security Platform.
Moreover, Mamedyarov informed his British counterpart in details about the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and said that the conflict can only be settled in the framework of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.
In turn, Miliband raised the energy issues and the EU's activity in this sphere. He highly evaluated Azerbaijan's role in the region and thanked for conditions, created in Azerbaijan for British companies.
