He noted that about 45,000 signatures had been collected.

"We have checked the signature sheets with my election campaign team and found some inaccuracies. In the main, they were connected with the fact that people, who collected signatures, did not point out the date of ID cards issuance in some cases. Therefore, we submitted just a little more than 42,000 signatures to the commission", said Alibeyli.

It should be noted that the Central Election Commission will have to pass a decision about registering Alibeyli's candidacy within 10 days.
