President of Azerbaijan receives honorary chairman of Parliamentary Assembly of Western European Union

Goris expressed satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan and noted that the delegation included representatives of a number of European countries.

"The main purpose of the visit is to prepare a report on the processes, ongoing in Azerbaijan and in the entire Caspian region, as well as works, carried out for energy security", said Goris.

He voiced hope that this report will fix the issue of stability, established in Azerbaijan.

In turn, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced that the regional issues are of great importance now.

The President noted that Azerbaijan is playing a great role in ensuring stability and energy security in the Caspian region and the Caucasus.

I.Aliyev voiced hope that the visit will promote further acquaintance with the development processes, ongoing in the country.
