Josef Pennington: "The United States support the idea of opening of the Armenian-Turkish border"

"The United States support the idea of the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border", said US temporary plenipotentiary to Armenia Josef Pennington.
"None of the countries assists to the process of opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, reconciliation and restoration of the democratic relations, as much as the United States", said Pennington in Yerevan.

He added that the "recent crisis in the region" confirms that the fact that the borders should open to hold free commodity turnover.
