A great many of foreign citizens gathered on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border, said spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim at a briefing today.
He noted that among them are both citizens of other countries and representatives of various international organizations, functioning in Georgia.
"After initiation of military actions in Georgia, hundreds of foreign citizens left this country via Azerbaijani border. Azerbaijan provided necessary assistance to them. Considering the situation, Azerbaijan decided to facilitate the border passage process. If earlier the clarification of different issues required five days, now we have cut time, necessary for it, due to the established situation", said Ibrahim.
