Azadlyg party not to appeal to European Court about non-provision of office by the state

23 July 2008 [14:32] - TODAY.AZ
"The Azadlyg party does not intend to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights regarding the non-provision of an office by the state", said party chairman Ahmed Oruj.
He said the party has already appealed to the Appellate Court, yet the claim was not granted.

"We do not want to continue court trials, as we know it is impossible to attain any changes this way.

The party will not appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, as the party's claim will be targeting Azerbaijan.

Yet, we do not want to do it. The party fights officials and oligarchs, who do not fulfill their work and do not provide parties with an office. Considering it, our political structure will search other ways of combat to get an office", noted he.

It should be reminded that Azadlyg party was registered in the Justice Ministry in 2005.
