Eldar Namazov to file a claim to Constitutional Court against Central Election Commission

He said the response reads that the case should be considered in the Appellate Court.

"Well, let it be so. I will soon file a claim to the Constitutional Court. I want the situation with presidential elections to be clear. The thing is not the  untimely declaration of the start of presidential elections by the Election Commission.

The thing is that in line with the constitution and the electoral code, the election process was to start by the old legislation within 120 days with propaganda on AzTV without restriction of the spread of visual agitation in the city and others from July 18.

The amendments, coming in force after this day (June 23), can be applied only at the next elections.

All these amendments to the Electoral Code can not be used at these elections from the point of view of Constitution and the Electoral Code.

But they have no time to look through the laws and see what is fixed there", said Namazov.
