Musavat party to work out proposals on amendments to Electoral Code with Azerbaijani opposition leaders

A regular session of the Musavat party divan was held today, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.
The session participants discussed overall political situation in the world and in the country and discussed plan of measures, which Musavat party plans to hold on occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People's Republic.

The divan discussed results of parliamentary elections in Georgia. The information was provided by member of divan Gulagha Aslanly, observing the elections in the neighbor country.

The session participants discussed preparation of a single package of proposals to the Electoral Code put forward by the leaders of Azerbaijani opposition, representative in the coalition of five parties. It was decided that Musavat party will continue talks with them and separate parties on preparation of a single package.

It should be noted that the coalition includes Musavat party, Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, public forum "For the sake of Azerbaijan", Tereqqi party and Azerbaijan National Independence Party.
