EU delegation arrives in Azerbaijan

EU special representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby did not join the party, as it was previously reported.

According to Novosti-Azerbaijan, the due announcement was made by Gael Gishar-Sherbin, assistant special representative for political issues.

She said Peter Semneby was sent to another country by a resolution of the EU leadership.

"The visit of the EU delegation aims to discuss regional issues in Azerbaijan. The delegation is expected to meet with senior officials, as well as NGO representatives, dealing with these issues", Sherbina noted.

On March 8 the EU delegation will take part in the 68th seminar "Rose Roth", NATO parliamentary assembly, which started operation in Baku on March 6 at Park Inn hotel.
