We have taken Arzu Abdullayeva's request into account and received her with her colleagues in Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.

The due announcement was made by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov.
He noted that detailed talks were held in the Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Ministry's officials tried to draw their attention to Azerbaijan's position and explain the key elements.
The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that the meeting was initiated by the Foreign Ministry and expressed hope that it would be useful.
"We would like the NGO representatives to be aware of Azerbaijan's national position while leaving for due arrangements out of our country's bounds. Yet, it is their own principle to take this into account or not", he said.
Touching upon Abdullayeva's definite request, Azimov noted that it is easy for some people to speak about possible passing of the contact front line between the territories, which are controlled and not controlled by Azerbaijan. The Deputy Minister noted that this is difficult in reality.
"It should be taken into account that the contact front line consists of several defense lines. There are mined areas on both sides. It is not easy to cross the line. Definite measures are taken each times under due political resolution. It should be reminded that one person from our side was injured and another died, if I am not mistaken, while clearing the corridor from mines to ensure line crossing by OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
At that time the line crossing by co-chairs was connected with important political issues. Azerbaijan undertook the step considering the importance of negotiations. I would ask Arzu Abdullayev not to simplify the issue. The matter is of that of security and I think the misunderstanding on this issue will be cleared after my explanations", he said.
