Baku hosts fifth Garabagh forum

The forum was attended by leaders of political parties and public figures.

Chairman of the Classic Popular Front Party Mirmahmud Miralioglu noted that the Union conducted arrangements concerning the Garabagh problem, worked out various proposals and presented them to the due state bodies. He expressed wish that positive steps are taken for the problem settlement next year: "We would like the steps to be taken".

The chairman of the Azadlyg party Ahmed Oruj considered it necessary to initiate anti-terrorist operations in Garabagh.

Gudrat Gasanguliyev, chairman of the Single Party of Popular Front expressed regret about absence of any operations for the settlement of the Garabagh problem. He reminded that while acceding to the Council of Europe Azerbaijan undertook commitments on the peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Garabagh conflict.

Gasanguliyev considers that Azerbaijan must give up this commitment.

"Today, Armenians are dislocating PKK terrorists in Nagorno Garabagh and do whatever they want in these lands. I think, the opposition must also be able to influence the Council of Europe".

Akif Nagi, chairman of the Organization for Releasing Garabagh, announced that international organizations intend to bring Azerbaijan to a defeating peace. Moreover, A.Nagi also spoke for Azerbaijan's breaking with popular diplomacy.

The chairman of the Adalyat party Ilyas Ismailov noted that Azerbaijan must also reject the mediatory mission of the OSCE Minsk Group.

According to the chairman of Tereggi Chingiz Demirogly, an anti-terrorist operation must be carried out in Garabagh. The chairman of the National-Democratic Party Iskender Gamidov, chairman of Tekamul party Teyub Gani and others spoke on the said topic during the forum.
