Khazar Ibragim: "Azerbaijan supports creation of permanent subcommittee for frozen conflicts under PACE"

Azerbaijan supports the proposal on creation of a subcommittee for frozen conflicts under the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, as reported by the spokesman of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibragim, commenting on the due proposal of Andres Herkel, co-rapporteur of the PACE Monitoring Committee on Azerbaijan.

Kh.Ibragim said Azerbaijan still supports peaceful resolution of Nagorno-Garabagh conflict.

"If the new structure contributes to the conflict settlement, we can only welcome it", he announced.
