Azerbaijan to attend UN regional meeting on countering corruption

Regional meeting of specialists from Central Asia countries, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan on countering corruption will take place on May 14-15 at the UN resource center in Almaty city.

Issues of realization of the UN Convention on struggle against corruption, establishment of the regional cooperation network between the specialists of anticorruption agencies of the organization's member states and prospects of introduction of e-government for countering corruption will be discussed within the meeting.

The event will be organized by the regional center of the UN Development Program for Europe and CIS in association with the UN department for struggle against drugs and crime. Kazinform
