Syrian Foreign Minister to visit Azerbaijan

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallim will visit Azerbaijan this year.

Azerbaijan's honorary consul to Lebanon Nazih Gassub told the APA that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov invited his counterpart while visiting Syria.

The issues discussion of which started in Syria will be focused on during the visit. They will focus their attention on opening of Syrian embassy in Azerbaijan. The embassy is planned to be opened after summer.
