Meeting of CIS ministerial board committee held in Moscow

The meeting held under the chairmanship of Colonel General Nikolay Reznik, head of the armed forces main personnel and military Education directorate was attended by Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan Defense Ministries' representatives, APA reports.

The meeting discussed Armed Forces' mutual relations with religious communities and societies and the role of the bodies engaged in the organization of leisure time in Armed Forces, prevention of drug addiction and rule breaking cases. Committee's Action Plan for 2007 was ratified.

The meeting also debated the Model Conception of social assistance and rehabilitation to the families of servicemen. Model Conception of mutual cooperation between CIS Armed Force's administrative bodies and religious societies for the education of servicemen's family members was looked through. The participators included their suggestions to the document.

The meeting approved 2009 Perspective plan of CIS defense ministries on information access of military cooperation.
