Andres Herkel: "The report on Azerbaijan's commitments can be amended"

The co-rapporteur said that the changes can be possibly made on the basis of the proposals at the meeting of the Monitoring Committee, which is to start on April 16 in the framework of the spring session. However, the co-rapporteur does not believe that the amendments will be fundamental.

"Any member of PACE can put forward initiative on amending the report. Even if there are amendments, I think that they will not be fundamental," he said.

Azerbaijan's commitments will be debated on the first day of the session. The report drawn up by the co-rapporteurs will be debated in the Monitoring Committee before the session of the Assembly, APA reports.
