Development program of Azerbaijani military industry to be drawn up

Defense ministry is making investigations concerning it.

The enterprises' opportunities and staff training are analyzed. The ministry studied the practice of Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Romania.

Scientific-research institute that will soon open under the ministry will deal with these activities. Over AZN300mln is supposed to be invested for the restoration of existing enterprises in Azerbaijan.

Defense Industry Ministry was set up on the basis of Special Engineering and Conversion Committee in December, 2005. APA
