Justice Party likely to support Ilham Aliyev's candidacy in presidential elections

Shukurlu said the party has never participated in the defense campaign of former ministers and will not do it in future.

"If the coalition consisting of former ministers' supporters is set up with opposition's support on the eve of 2008 presidential elections, Justice Party will not participate in it. We consider that opposition parties should not mediate in legalizing what corrupt officials stole. On the contrary, the government's measures should be appraised in such moments so that the policy pursued up to now can change," he said.

Shukurlu said his party is likely to support Ilham Aliyev's candidacy in 2008 presidential elections.
