Defense Ministry three officials resign

"I have taken a three-month leave for the present. My resignation will be documented during this time," Malikov told the APA.

Malikov also affirmed the information on the resignation of Defense Ministry finance office's chief, Colonel Nizami Mammadov and Ministry's affairs chief, Colonel Tofig Tagiyev from Armed Forces.

Malikov served at the Azerbaijani Armed Forces from 1992. Prior to this, he served as professor of the State Medical University. He was the author and announcer of several military-patriotic programs.
