Turkish, German Foreign Ministers discuss Nagorno Karabakh conflict

"I discussed the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders during my visit to South Caucasus. There is a process directed to the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. I hope the problem will be solved, before it reaches deadlock," German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said while meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul.

The ministers exchanged views on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Abdullah Gul said that he wants the solution of the conflict, not its freezing.

"If the problems are frozen, it will impede the process of settlement. Therefore, it is important to discuss how we will help solve the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said. APA
