Ramil Usubov: "Despite their successes, police have some shortfalls"

Azerbaijan Interior Ministry held a board meeting on "Organization of revealing secret crimes and the situation of done works" and "District Police Inspector's activity's situation and perspective goals."

Interior Ministry's press service told APA that Interior Minister Ramil Usubov addressing the meeting said Interior Ministry authorities and divisions achieved success to fight crimes and ensure public security and orders.

Interior Ministry's main crime fighting department’s chief Emin Shakinski said police revealed 78.5 percent of crimes, including 17 cases of assault, 149 robberies, 92 brigandage, 1101 stealing, 849 ruffianism, 3365 assault, and 1302 killing cases.

Baku city Main Police Office's Chief Yashar Aliyev and the chiefs of Baku districts police offices’ also reported at the meeting.

The minister said despite their successes, police have some shortfalls advised the police to protect law and to enhance the quality of its activity on the way to prevent crimes.
