14th anniversary of occupation of Azerbaijani region Kalbajar by Armenian forces

Armenian forces' large-scale attack on Match 27, 1993 ended with Kalbajar's occupation. The occupation left 55 soldiers and hundreds of civilians killed, and 321 were taken hostages, APA reports.

Armenian invaders seized the control of 130 settlements with 97 schools, 9 kindergartens, 116 libraries, 43 clubs, 42 cultural houses, 9 hospitals. The occupation of Kalbajar left 52,000 IDPs. Kalbajar territory of 2.185 square kilometers still remains under Armenian occupation.

The damaged caused by the occupation of this region amounted to 703.5 billion AZM.
