NATO backs territorial integrity of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Moldova

"In the communique adopted in the NATO summit the nations support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and the Republic of Moldova.

"It's important, and it reflects our concern about frozen conflicts," US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Daniel Fried told reporters, APA reports.

He said that the support for the territorial integrity of these countries doesn't say they should start hostilities as the NATO provides only diplomatic support. "We support only peaceful settlement of the frozen conflicts," Daniel Fried said.
