YAP blames Sardar Jalaloglu for disinformation

29 November 2006 [14:36] - TODAY.AZ
"YAP did not receive any appeal on representation in For Azerbaijan Initiative Group and no talks have been held concerning it," said party's press service chief Huseyn Pashayev.

Pashayev told the APA, while expressing his attitude to first deputy chief of ADP Serdar Jalaloglu’s statement about YAP's talks with the group, that neither the leadership nor any structure of the party received this kind of appeal.

"The party has no information about the aims of the establishment of the group, its goals and program. We declare officially that, YAP did not receive any appeal on to be held forum by any opposition parties. Sardar Jalaloglu's statement should be characterized as disinformation and be valued as attempts to dispel doubts in the positions of opposition parties," he said.

Pashayev said that the case can be considered after the party receives any information about the program and goals of the group.

"YAP can think that the group really will discuss the issues serving the interests of the state. YAP was always the supporter of constructive dialogue," he said.

It should be noted that, Jalaloglu told the APA yesterday that the group had discussed the representation of YAP with party leadership and got agreement of principle.

After YAP's denial APA spoke to Jalaloglu again. This time he told that the talks have not been realized yet.

"The talks can take place in the beginning or end of this week, we hold negotiations with YAP press service and Ali Ahmadov," he said.
