Yashar Aliyev to be appointed Ambassador to US

Head of Azerbaijan's permanent representative office in UN Yashar Aliyev will be appointed Ambassador to the United States.

Agshin Mehdiyev, head of permanent representative office in the Council of Europe will be appointed permanent representative to the United Nations.

As APA reports, this issue is in the head of state competence.

Hafiz Pashayev has been recalled from the post of ambassador to US and appointed Deputy Foreign Minister & Head of Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Academy.
