President receives Turkish and Iranian FMs

As APA reports, Mr. Abdullah Gul emphasized great importance of hosting by the friendly and fraternal Azerbaijan the 33rd session of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers of the OIC member countries.

President Aliyev gave high assessment to conducting such influential action in Azerbaijan, noting that some of the session participants-ministers are for the first time in Baku.

"It is of great significance for recognition of our country. And I hope the action will make remarkable contribution to activity of the Organization of Islamic Conference. We must unite our efforts in all questions," President Ilham Aliyev said.

The Azerbaijani President also received Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Manouchehr Mottaki. Mr. Mottaki extended his congratulations to the head of the Azerbaijan state for successful organization of Session of the OIC Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers.

President Aliyev stressed significance of this action for the country. In the meeting, the sides also discussed other questions of mutual interest.
