According to Armenian media, Robert Kocharyan flew to Moscow
once again just the day before. This time, his destination was Sergey
Kiriyenko, who is widely regarded as the key figure overseeing Moscow’s policy
toward post-Soviet countries.
Reports say Kocharyan traveled with high hopes — aiming to
sell himself, and preferably at a premium.
He presented Kiriyenko with his “plan to defeat Pashinyan.”
The plan, it turned out, was rather simple: gather all the disgruntled, shout
“Down with Vovaevich!” and… invest money in whom? Of course, in Kocharyan
himself.
Kiriyenko, however, was not impressed by the proposal, and
the would-be savior of the nation was clearly given to understand that funding
would not be forthcoming.
Apparently, there are younger and more appealing candidates.
