New project presented in Ministry of Labor and Social Security of population

Minister Fizuli Alakbarov has told: "The purpose of the project consists in rendering social assistance to poor and needy groups of the population and strengthening of support to the state structures of Azerbaijan in poverty reduction. The ministry, being the basic partner of the project, will render all- round aid to its realization."

The Head of project financed by the European Union in the frame of TACIS program Timo Pirainen in detail told about such directions of activity, as preparation of strategy on development of the social aid in Azerbaijan, wide methods and practice on reduction of poverty and the social assistance and carrying out of study, increase of competence and informing of the population in this area. The project is evaluated 1 million 421 thousand Euros and will be realized during 2 years, AzerTAg reports.
