PM receives Kazakhstan delegation

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Arthur Rasizade received co-chairs of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, Deputy Premier Abbas Abbasov and Kazakh Energy Minister Baktikoja Izmukhamedov.

As APA informs, mutual economic relations and prospects were discussed at the meeting.

Gathering of the intergovernmental commission in Baku today and final protocol was signed. Under the protocol, the commission decided to activate some draft agreements.

These agreements include support for transportation of Kazakhstan oil by the Caspian Sea and via Azerbaijan through Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, and agreement on industry corporation.

Document between Azerbaijan State Border service and Kazakhstan National Security Committee on prevention of illegal activity in the Caspian Sea and memorandum between Azerbaijan Security State Committee and Kazakhstan Agency on Regulation of Finance Market and Finance Organizations are to be worked out for approval.

The next meeting of the commission will be held in Astana in 2007. Exact date of the gathering will be coordinated with the diplomatic channels. About 80 documents have been signed between the two countries.
