President left for Washington

The official program of the visit is due to start on Wednesday with negotiations in the US Foreign Affairs Council.

The next day (April 27), the Head of state will participate at the 6th conference on business and investment - "Strategic connections between Azerbaijan and United States: Political and Trade perspectives", organized by the joint efforts of the American-Azerbaijani Trade Chamber (USACC).

Meeting with the US president, George Bush is scheduled for the last day of the President's visit to America, Friday April 28. The same day president is expected to hold talks with Defense Minister, Donald Rumsfeld.

Number of documents in political and economic cooperation might be signed in the course of the visit.
