"I don't expect Azerbaijan and the United States to reach any agreement on settling the conflict, as this contradicts America's political course," Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian told the Yerevan-based Aykakan Jamanak newspaper, AssA-Irada informs.
Oskanian said any agreement reached without his country's involvement would be futile, noting that official Washington is presently not making any efforts to put pressure on Armenia. He clamed that the Karabakh conflict remains unresolved due to Azerbaijan's radical position.
Oskanian admitted that Armenia bewares the launch of military action.
"Azerbaijan may launch a war only after all hopes for the peace process are shattered. However, the Azeri leadership can't make this decision on its own."
